How is the hospital's reporter/data uploader chosen if many stakeholders are registering without knowing the others are doing so?

This is a great poster. I would like to post something like this around the hospital in physician lounges etc.. but we do not have a Transfusion Medicine Physician on call. Is there something similar available for those of us that don't have that resource?

The baseline data asks for an audit of 50 consecutive units to be audited for single unit and pre-transfusion Hb to be completed and entered before Dec 1.Is there direction in terms of how the follow-up audit over 4 months is to be completed to demonstrate a sustained practice? An audit of 10 units per month, for example?

Might the slides be made available at some point in time?

The table states HB over 80 but the bar graph stated under 80. Sorry - previous slide.

if we were in the START study are we still doing this audit as well or will we skew the results

I have 3 different labs in the Region I am in charge of. Would I include all 3 sites into the audit?

How do you manage MTPs that get captured in your spot audit? If we follow the protocol these should be left in? (I did a trial spot audit, and noted a bad MTP from the OR that was captured in my 50).

Are multiple transfusions on a single patient included or excluded?

Can hospitals submit more than the equivalent of a 50 chart audit if we have the power to automatically pull data (pre-transfusion Hb values and order structure [1 vs multi-unit orders] from all the inpatient care areas [already able to exclude OR, ER, IR, and outpatient day units])? In other words, the same kind of data that a site might have been submitting on the OrbCon QIP portal?

Similar to the START study, rather than pulling retrospective data, can prospective data (ex. first 25 consecutive units per months) be tracked - if sustainability will be evaluated based on 50 units every 2 months?
